I don't know the climate in MO... but it wouldn't surprise me if folks there voted more inline with the south.

I am expecting Ohio, Michigan, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and maybe N. Carolina to vote against Bush. N Carolina is a huge job loss state being the banking center of the southeast so even though they are technically "south" I think economics will carry the day there.

I remember when Edwards carried NC in 98, that was the sea change there. The far right geezer was voted out in quite an upset.
