That's the difference between being a good player and being a respected player: you will always give 100% for your teammates, but you give just a little more when you are playing for a respected team leader.
It's one of those intangibles you bring on the field, and it isn't anyone's fault really, certain teams just play better when certain QB's are behind the wheel than others, even though the statistics may be nearly the same.
