Fat Kids. In Japan the only fat people you saw were gaijin and Japanese kids. Yup - its diet related. Not saying Japanese kids are fat; just that obesity in Japan is massively age-related. All the kids leave the local stuff for the 'exotic' McCrap Burgers. Nothing I loved more than a bowl of hot soba. God knows how few calories this had relative to western fast food. Still I guess it creates a new market for the drug companies to exploit. Now that is why its called the Food and Drug Administration. Create the problems with the food - obesity, BSE, intensive farming - then the drug companies can make out like bandits. -macavity
