You posted spin from a professional spinner. Judgement can be wrong. Mistakes can be made. Dishonesty about what was known about Iraqi WMD, clearly stated to drum up support for the war and to stifle sober second thought, is entirely different from honest mistakes. We have a White House that has ruined its own credibility by making statements again and again that we know for a fact were not true, and they knew at the time they were not true. They used these statements to invade a country. They used these statements to send Americans to their deaths. We can debate policy -- reasonable people can and should differ on matters of policy in a search for the best alternative -- but dishonesty of the kind that flowed from the White House should not be tolerated. Our elected officials should not lie to us and then send our sons and daughters to their deaths. Without integrity, the White House is reduced to a propaganda machine not unlike the dictators we seek to displace -- and that is what it turned into under President Bush.
