This country is really empty. ***! So India is the ideal we aspire for??? Ya gotta face up to the fact that we can only stop so many at the border.* The surge in illegal immigration was because of failure of political will, not failure of the police forces. We can't tell Mexico what to do. Sure we can. We've done it more than once. In 1846 we told them to sell us the American southwest at gunpoint. In 1914 we told them to keep Villa and his boys on their side of the border. They didn't do it and we sent Army troops into Mexico. And just two of many incidents.
