Dean's feet should be held to fire. If he comes out successfully of this "hazing" ritual then he should be able to take on Bush. I hope he comes out of this successfully.

edit msnbc zogby poll virtual 4 way tie with edwards in fourth place
News reports this morning say Kerry has pulled past both dean and gephardt in iowa. A kerry victory or even a three way tie sort of eliminates gepardt and with clark coming on in NH and Kerry translating a strong showing in iowa into contention in NH as well.
Also watch edwards pick up some steam in the south after NH if nothing is settled in NH.
This can be a barn burner going forward and dean may fall away like a front runner in a horse race. There was one stat i picked up on Hardball a few nights ago. No one in iowa lists dean as their second choice--if this translates nationally the good doctor may be heading back to vermont. mike

There was a picture of the candidates all together at the last debate in iowa. All looked somewhat presidential except dean. He looked too short, too stocky, clothes didnt seem to fit well. Best looking presidential candidate was Kerry. Looks like abe lincoln to dean's al smith. Mike
PS Personally i consider myself an independent leaning to the republicans because of national security and economic issues but i would consider voting for Kerry, Lieberman or Edwards. I have ruled out clark and dean completely. I like Gephardt personally but i find his protectionism scary.
