The government blamed the particularly weak development of the German economy in the first six months of 2003 to the economic uncertainty generated by the war in Iraq. Gosh, what a bunch of losers Schröder and his red-green cabinet members are. I'm really at a loss how to educate the people about the right economic policy. Not that the conservatives were any better - Kohl evaded structural reforms for a decade, too. Some call the prevailing mentality the "Mikado game" - whoever moves first loses.
