OT: "It's a revenue generator, absolutely." Yeah they don't even try to pretend it's about public safety... Better to tax the transports, it's more of a balanced consumption tax IMHO that way (they pass everything along) and that's why the roads are $hit anyway. BTW they are also still committed to eliminating coal fired power by 2007.. we are told to make up the power shortfall through conservation .. maybe I'll invest in socks .. -23C outside my door... he he...
