Flexible Flyer, Sure did! I had a long one for two passengers. They can turn great and have great speed...they'd go like hell on hard pack and a little slower in deep powders. I can still hear the noise they made on hard pack and ice. Put my tongue on one of the frozen runners once....big mistake. Altair19

Flexible Flyers for the underprivileged warmer climate folks who might not know what I'm talking about. I have a Flexible Flyer given to me by my father in '51. Used it again when I lived by the Great Lakes in grad school. Later both kids used it, and had a ball. You're right, great sleds. Lurqer's daffodils Trying to get my planting done. Still have to transplant more blackberries to the back fence - make it more deer proof. lurqer

I have one in the barn. Sarah bought it for the boys when we moved up here, and Fuzzette used it a bit, along with a saucer. Now, they all head off to the mountains to go snow-boarding. Desert Rat PS My daffies are maybe 6 inches, but probably won't bloom for another month.
