<<They all remember "Dirty Harry" when they start out.>>

I have one of the earliest "Dirty Harry" 44 mags, it doesn't even have a model # on it. I paid $100 for it in 1972. For the most part it's been fed light hand loads or .44 specials. When I'm not shooting it, the gun is in my nightstand full of 240 grain mag hollow points.

I did load it up with the full loads one evening when my crippled buddy called me. A gang from a trailer park about a mile from his house had been molesting his daughter, not rape but working on it. He was afraid to call the police because they had threatened revenge. The gang was swimming in his pond and tearing up his property. I took my .44 mag and made a little trip. Drove up to the pond and gave the boys a little lecture while popping a few 240 grain pills into the pond. Popped a few more off as they were running home naked carrying their clothes through the bean field. Got a call the next evening from him, word at the school was don't bother Jennifer, her dad has a friend who shows up out of nowhere and will KILL YOU.

I have a friend who is a big tough guy who has a .454 Casull and the gun scares the hell out of him. Recoil is incredible.
