Because they then weren't linked to bin Laden? Hindsight is 20 20. I might ask you, given everything they knew, provided by the Clinton administration, why did Bush CUT the anti-terrorism budget on coming into office? They were even given warnings that airplanes might be used in terror attacks! BUSH knew it was bin Laden when the attacks happened, and he knew that he had let America down, failed as a President. Why didn't Bush go after bin Laden until AFTER 9/11? Why was he focusing on invading Iraq prior to 9/11, at the expense of allowing 9/11 to occur ON HIS WATCH? History will record WHO allowed 9/11 to occur, if BUSH will allow the 9/11 commission to do their work, which he is now doing everything possible to IMPEAD.
