Kerry tokes on an imaginary joint and lets people know he's cool. Believe it or not it's deliberate. He used to be accused of being too much of a straight arrow. He has actually given interviews to tell he was once a hip guy, having wild times as a young Navy guy on leave. Bush doesn't because he was an aclhie and plays to the Christian right who are big squares. Kerry also plays guitar a lot now. Another message there. Remember Clinton blowing the sax with shades on? That helped him with both the youth and black vote. Also, I'll bet 50% of adults in this country have smoked pot and most of them have nothing against it. Pot ought to be decriminalized and hemp ought to be made completely legal so we don't need to cut down our forests for paper and fiber. Hemp also makes fuel.
