<<We can all agree Sapp's cheap shot on the GB Lineman on kickoff coverage a year ago was unwarranted, even though it was 'legal'.>>

The day it happened I said it was legal. I'd coach my players to lay that same hit on people. Having said that I also believe in payback. Sapp would have been legally destroyed if I were the Head Coach at GB this year.

<<I just have a problem with people that intentionally try to 'set the tone' of the game by knocking a guy out of the game>>

I agree with you there. I don't want to knock a guy out of the game. The intent is to inflict a little pain on a solid stick. I'd prefer this be done legally. But I don't view myself as dirty for thinking that way. I view myself as an intense football guy. That may sound like an excuse.....Na....It does sound like an excuse but I'm being totally honest and I accept any criticism for my thoughts. Truth be told GB and most teams play a pretty clean brand of tough football. I'm proud of the fact we don't have some dirtball hatchet man on our team. Your thought process of playing legal and within the rules is both correct and admirable
