Sounds grim -- and if it's your job, it could be. But it probably won't be your job.

This in particular flies in the face of current facts. We have a job loss recovery for the first time in the history of the US afaik. Even worse, the economic climate for US companies is outstanding at this moment with high GDP. So it looks like it "probably is your job", or somebody's job, which is necessary for a decent recovery. It makes you wonder what will happen when we have the next recession. 10 million permanently lost jobs?
