Again I agree on Kerry or Clark. I like Dean a lot, but he has not tried to counter the spin that Rove is already putting out, that he is a hothead, that he is too liberal, that he is racist, or that he is inexperienced. I don't believe it, but I remember all too well when Rove spun the theme that Gore was a liar, and Gore never framed the situations in the correct light. I don't have the feeling that Dean is ready for Faux News and the Weakly Standard to repeat the charges night after night after night while complaining that CBS is not repeating them loud enough. I think Kerry and Clark have been burned once, at least, and are more prepared. TP

Why do we always need a "war hero" ? .. Have you not evolved beyond that thinking ? .. What is a "war hero" anyway? Just asking. <g>.. Because what: Has "War" solved in the long run anyway? Nothing as far back, as can I look or see or read, 2 or 3 grand years ago.. Why not try a different tack when the captain of whatever ship of state throughout the ages keeps sailing the same course into the same "tragedy of reef or rocks" AND sinks.. Just my beliefs from eons of believing.. c
