You were following it much closer than I in those days. I get the feeling that the Israelis would not be willing to do what they are doing now if they had not gone through it. Kind of like a drunk having to sink to the bottom before he will swear off. Israeli's Left had to learn the hard way.

That is what I am afraid could happen to us.
