You don't realize, do you, that "people who have travelled" means those who have visited other lands with an interest to see and experience their unique values, lived in those places and experienced their different ways of life. It does not mean lying diplomats nor invading soldiers. I know no such thing. Nor do you. People who travel are people who travel. They may do much good. But what we do know is that they do much damage. I realize that, being one of the travellers, you have a need to defend them. That's understandable. But you could at least try to be logical about it.
