How many other countries in the world waste as much time and money on the nomination process and the campaign? Why not?

Rhetorical questions, obviously. They answer themselves.

It's not like our current process puts the smartest, most honest, most moral and upstanding candidates in the Oval Office eventually. Far from it.

I think Jerry Ford was probably the last President I actually trusted. And he was no rocket scientist.
