I don't think having an endorsement from Michael Moore, lifetime member of the NRA, is a bad thing. A lot of folks pay attention to what he says. I believe he's more likely to bring voters Clark's way because of his endorsement than he is to dissuade voters from voting for Clark. He gets air time and he has a web site with a fairly large following so at the least he'll help get the word out for Clark.
Like him or not, Moore has credibility among many voters.

Not a lot of swing voters in the NRA - 99.98% probably wrapped up already for Bush.

OTOH, a certain number of normally apathetic 25-year-old losers might pay attention to Madonna.

Marketing is all about audience and message, right?
