dock Yes, when I first saw it and realized the Apple Menu as we knew it in OS9 was gone, and so was Windowshade, I just about fell over. But, got those two missing items back via haxies, and now the Dock kind of grew on me, really. I purged it of all the stuff I don't need there, replaced it with stuff I do need, minimized it, bottom of screen, no animation, and I like it for drag and drop launch purposes, a lot. It's not perfect, by any means. I agree with all your critical points, but I don't dislike it -- it does save me time.
