The apparent purpose of all right-wing fanatics (and I'm not talking about true conservative here but the never-worked-for-a-living entitlement puppy wannabees) is to gut all of the social programs that were created over the last century.

They are out to wreck the United States of America, our great country, as we know it...all in the name of short term personal profit. Shrub wants to privatize Social Security because his biggest campaign contributors are brokerage and financial firms. Guess who would get that huge influx of money?

Here's the money trail:

- Original WH sponsored tax cut bill was so egregious that even those tax-spend-steal Republicans in Congress were embarassed by it.
- As O'Neill points out, the second time around even Shrubbery was hesitant until that unelected KarlRove scolded him in front of his staff.

The idea is to completely gut the US treasury and transfer that wealth to the ultrawealthy. It is to create a new class of ultrarich, untouchable families not unlike what has happened in Russia with the oligarchs. After all, the oligarchs gutted Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union and became enormously rich off the spoils.

What I can't understand is why anyone, who isn't already ultrarich AND devoid of a soul, supports this.

The true conservatives have finally come out now and are yelling with disgust at the Republican-controlled Congress and Shrub. They've had enough of this spendthrift group who think they own everything because they currently hold office.

It's incredible that the American Public can't see what is happening...to them.

<<I expect to get mine in a few years, after all I've been paying into it for long enough!>>

The problem, of course, it that it is most definitely NOT "yours".

"YOURS" was used to pay people like Phillips, who were further up the pyramid. Those below you on the pyramid will continue to get screwed so that you can be fooled into thinking that you are getting "yours".

Nothing new here, other than the sheer SCALE of this version of an old fraud.

But pyramids never change, and they've been around for a very long time. In what is now the short-to-mid-term, those from whom your are hoping to steal "yours" will be coming to get "theirs" back.

You will be able to designate yourself a victim (though I suspect you at least HAD the OPPORTUNITY to know better), and those from whom "yours" has been stolen may be merciful enough to feed and shelter you until you and "yours" die off.

But the growing trend is toward people like ME, who wouldn't blame them a BIT if they just toss you out in the street.

Nothing personal. That's just the way a pyramid scheme ends. And they ALWAYS end the same way.

You may want to FINALLY face that fact that you have not been investing at all. You have been TAXED, so that what USED TO BE "yours" could be USED to by loyalty and votes from the Phillips's in our midst...
