We obviously must have taxes. But we are severely overtaxed at this point, so my feeling is we should not have ANY new taxes, for any reason whatsoever, until fiscal responsibility returns to government.

I have, in the last few votes, voted against local sales taxes to support additional school funding as well limitations on property taxes. I simply don't care what they intend to use them for; until they learn how to act, I will not willingly provide more money.
