I see Anindo answered you on jdsu (he likes avnx, same sector, more concentrated)- but anyway you of all people should be putting money into Linux, these are rhat and novl. I know you know software and you know asia, they don't want msft, Linux is all the rage. Rhat has an open source database product in the GPL which they are starting to productize which was one of the oracle competitors when I worked at oracle 10 years ago. In other words a real enterprise class product. Open source software can address the 60-70% of the market that wants software to get the job done, but doesn't need the absolute high end super high capacity product. I think its one of these disruptive techs that come around every 10 years or so, a great opportunity. I don't even care about the damage open source does to the established US software firms because they have transferred their entire workforces to india anyway. Linux turns software into a service model which is actually BETTER for the US economy than license based software.
