I find that when a person is presented with a solution they don't like, and they don't have a good, ready, answer against it, or when they just want to f**k with you, they go for the "Oh, you are oversimplifying!" Or, "There are many other factors you haven't considered!" I can relate to that. But just because some people use that as a diversion or a crutch or a weapon doesn't mean that there's not a lot of oversimplification going on.

JohnM..... He was an expert at this approach." Couldn't agree more. He also redefined the word "nuance" into what many of his peers now do to revise history, facts & reality. It's sort of like taking a stock engine, then turbo-charging, fuel- injecting & adding other high output parts to it, but claiming it's still the same basic engine.
