Harris is a loyal political soldier, and she will eventually get her payback in Washington. But she is falling on the sword again, even though she leads in all the polls. If she were running in November, the Reps are afraid it might energize the Dems in Florida, and bring out more Dem voters. And that could be bad for Bush in a close race.

John, is this for real? They pulled her even though she's leading in the polls? And why is the idiot princess so popular? What is the problem in FLA? Too much sun and surf?

Florida is going to be an important state again, we're going to be lousy with political candidates come this fall.

Then the Dems and Independents better get their butts out and vote.
