Thanks, Jay. You're used to networks that allow you to connect inside the plane just before taking off and while sipping your coffee. Islands still rely on satellite gateways. Too expensive to make a collar of fiber and connect all those Islands. We have not gone there yet. After carpet bombing the richer countries, we went to what is called the 'remediated' countries: Czech Republic, Brazil, Malaysia... Today we are doing Nigeria, Bangla, Afhganistan, Iraq, Tunisia and the likes... In the end we will do those islands too. Meanwhile you have to taste the dark ages of fixed telecoms and how could you have lived with that kind of infra...
