How many times can people say that with a straight face? Don't get "nervous in the service," Sam. What they are really saying is that it takes some time to get this under control. It took five years to turn Germany completely over after WWII. We administered Japan for almost as long. I find that people pressing about it are doing so for Political reasons. Just another campaign issue. The real question underlying it all is "how much longer will the American People put up with casualties? The answer seems to be as long as they see progress being made. And that "progress" is influenced by the Media. Hence, the complaints about how the Major Media reporting does not jib with other sources. From our "Political Pro" standpoint. It would be great if we could get a handoff done by November. But not crucial. Catching Saddam seems to have made a huge change in perception here and abroad.
