<<If that happens to her, it will just be the "dirty tricks" crowd from GOP. The radicals on that side of political spectrum would drum up charges on their own mother if they thought it would garner votes for GW Bush.>>

Nope, she has gotten away with a ton of stuff. When she ran for the Senate the first time, the Black Democratic Illinois Attorney General said he'd bring her up on charges except it would reflect badly on her campaign.

She put her mother in a nursing home under public aid. Her mother owned several hundred of acres of timber land which Ms. Braun sold and pocketed the money after her mother was in the home.

On Friday, the two rival campaigns provided reporters with comments Kerry made five years ago, indicating he would scale back the Department of Agriculture and revamp farm subsidies.

Kerry said during the day he would change the subsidy program, not end it. But Erik Smith, a spokesman for Gephardt dismissed the charge, adding the Massachusetts senator has ``been sending negative mail on Gephardt for weeks.''

Braun has a history of corruption, as you probably know or should know. She has previously used political campaigns to line her own pockets because, IMO, she thinks that as a prominent black female politico, she is innoculated against criminal prosecution, a reasonable self-perception given the fact Clinton made her Ambassador to New Zealand after the Illinois voters saw her for what she is, namely, a long-standing crook.
