>> The significance of Carol Moseley Braun

This article tells it like it is.

The Democrats are NOT about "inclusion". They are about "power". Bush is about inclusion. Look at the minorities in his cabinet.

Frankly, it tells the entire story. While Clinton appointed Ron Brown (who turned out to be corrupt) and Henry Cisneros (who turned out to be corrupt) to token positions, Bush brings in black individuals to important posts and gave them an opportunity to show that competent black individuals can achieve.

Whether blacks acknowledge it or not, Bush has done more for blacks by these actions alone than Clinton did throughout his eight years. For the first time, black children in this nation can see black individuals who have worked hard to "get somewhere" and have done so. It is a pretty damned good example.

The lip service the Democrats give to "inclusion" gets pretty tired.

Carol Moseley Braun, who ended her presidential campaign this week, is frequently and accurately described as the only African-American woman ever to serve in the United States Senate.

Good work! You've uncovered an amazing scandal! NOT!

Its amazing with what facista conservatives will come up. White democrats elect blacks to office all the time. Only a conservative would try to make a distinction by the positioning of the office. We are not racist like you guys so we don't think like you do! Tell you town hall cronies to give it up!
