<I'm going with my little guy this afternoon for some visceral, meaningless, testosterone charged Monster Trucks and the demolition derby, crash 'em and smash 'em I say... my daughter has informed me that she has outgrown that stuff... oh oh! A good bonding experience nonetheless..>

KC, in the interests of public safety, you might like to reconsider. Your son might take seriously the whole idea and never see the nice, quiet, safety of the highway quite the same. It'll be a testosterone-charged crash 'em and smash 'em zone for fun and excitement.

Actually, I'm only half-kidding. One of my cousins was a mountain-climber and his son took up the same game and died falling off a mountain. What we teach and enthuse about with our children has undesirable consequences sometimes.

Hmmm, maybe my propensity to not want to come last on the motorway has something to do with early pollution of my brain by speedway, stock cars and watching TT motorbike races as a youngster. I have trouble winning on the road because there always seems to be somebody ahead of me who has got a head start.

Also, the business about multi-tasking in which women allegedly have an advantage is obviously false because I can text message, change gears, accelerate, overtake, tune the radio and perv at a gorgeous female walking nearby, simultaneously, while keeping an eye out for the cops and doing some maths to calculate the wave function of QCOM's CDMA sales. Women can't do that.
