I think it would be great for the country if a president defeated the traditional process and won solely based on issues that attracted new voters.

But I think the media, which is not minority-owned at all, wants a typical candidate against a typical candidate. Don't you get that feeling?

One scenario which could energize the nation would be if Dean were to capture the nomination of the Democrats and Nader declared a third party to help pull in grassroots. Shortly before the election, Nader drops out and asks his voters to support Dean. In this kind of scenario I think Bush would be trounced and there'd become a whole new mandate to lead the nation and the world into a more peaceful environment.
