Man, talk about an over-usage and abusage of the term "white man." And this in an article written by a guy named Brownstein--lol! As to your $300 bet--I'm not a heavy better, never have been. And I don't wish to become like your moral man Bill Bennett. The extent of my betting career--even though I invented a betting game on baseball--is occassionally to buy a football square or few, or sometimes filling in the blanks of March Madness. It's been my policy over the years--and nothing's changed today--that when betting one on one to limit the bet to a Guinness. It's my view that Bush will lose despite the white man vote, because Hispanics will realize he's pandered awfully to them and they will see his reach for them as a mere pittance when compared to the manner in which he doubly panders and laps up to white men--they'll sense both Bush insincerity and the contradiction of a Republican helping any other group but white men. The growing Hispanic vote will go Democrat and with the black vote (unless Bush dumps Cheney, which he might have to do, and replaces him with a black) and the women vote, which will soar to surge levels due to the rise in the death and torn limb count from the war, together this force will give the popular vote to the DEMs. So here's my bet: Depending on where you live, I'll buy you a Guinness if the Democrat loses the popular vote. I'm in the Northeast, if you wish to take the bet.
