I don't disagree with that. That's why I included "for us," emphasized "terribly" and added "in the short term." The worst thing short term and for us he could have done with a nuke is put a big crater in Israel, which would have sucked us into a war, which is where we are anyway. I don't mean to seem dismissive of the horror that would have been for Israel, but Israel is not "us."
