Why was Clinton and the Democrat-controlled congress so
interested in other people's sex lives in 1994
when they passed the "Violence Against Women Act"?

Be careful throwing around that term alcoholic. My Dad was one so I am really familiar with the DISEASE. Many people are heavy drinkers but never become alcoholics. On the other hand you could drink relatively little and still become one. You are right, once an alcoholic you can never have even a sip again the rest of your life. My Dad always told me its the hardest thing to stop doing you can imagine. He used to tell me stopping smoking is a breeze compared to stopping drinking. Bush OBVIOUSLY no longer drinks. If anything you ought to admire his resolve. jdn

I don't know if that applies to cocaine as well.

Should be easy for you to determine. Do you get physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms when you run out? Cravings?
