My "Money and Brains" buddies in my neighborhood eat catfish.

I have lived in the south and know what catfish eat. No "bottom feeders" for me, thank you.

Most Catfish today are farm raised. They have become a very profitable way for many farmers to continue to live on their land. I am told that catfish convert protein in their food more efficiently than any other farm raised animal.

The meet is white firm and not fishy tasting at all. It is one of the most cost effective ways to eat fish you will find.

Bohemian or not they are not the redneck item you remember from your Youth.
