After presumably reading the Bunn stuff on the availability of fissile material on the black I've posted, as well as Saddam's well-known human rights record, what's your response to my other 3 points?

Our boyz may feel ours isn't threatening because it is disruptive in a constructive way. But that's only the case if we're omniscient about how our plans will affect things there (or incredibly lucky) and if we have control over their implementation. Neither is the case.

Oh, it is threatening, alright. But it is most threatening to all the illegitimate dictators in the Mideast, who should be the most threatened. And control is a relative thing. We may not have full control now - but compare it to the situation if we had waited for Saddam Hussein to choose the time and place of the confrontation. One thing that cannot repeated enough is, that expecting the status quo ante to continue forever was not realistic.
