i would not short nvec, despite the "high price", the stock has a market cap of only 270 million. there are only 4 million shares and the float is 1 million shares, short interest is about 31 percent. MRAM is expected to be a disruptive technology and NVEC holds the key patent. MOT and CY to release prototypes later this year and it is expected that the MRAM market will be 50 billion by year 2010. hell no i wouldnt short NVEC, its piddly market cap could easily be over a billion dollars. the model is very similar to that of rmbs, which is to license the IP....interesting discussion on yahool msg board, shorts getting punished.
