Can you keep a secret? Ok. Sit down. The PFN thingie is at the edge of what is called the Grenville Front. It goes for quite a ways along Logan's firing line all the way through the Pays of Qwaybeck. Studbury is at the Grenville front too. The GF is a raft of proterozoically deformed rocks pushed up agin the northerly younger Cambriac outliers and the older Temiskaming-Algoman series volcs and the granites. As well as all that, there ARE faults blitzing all the way over der to Ottawa. What about the Ottawa-Bonnechere Graben? the Ottawa River. Figure that water course is on a height of land?.

'Memember dat Pat Sharedanus fellah with Texmont, North American Palladium start up? Well, that young fellah used to have a nickel-copper mine north of the Grenville front outside the town of -- guess what place.. yep, Ottawa Ontario. And south of Kobalt Ontareeo, there is the front too. And at the front - Some old Falco copper occurences. And west of there, what have you got? Temagami. Not far off the beaten path and what is there too? Iso-Copperfields of Teck Corp fame, with its 36% copper grades. All that diabase in the shadow of Studbury in the Wanapatei area, then over into Cobalt huge outpourings of alkaline diabase, then further west north of the Bay, there is this terrific alkaline outpouring of basalts and hugie niobium things strung out there. When Champlains men were jumping out of the canoes on rivers nearby they swore the saw gold. Perhaps cubes of pyrites, perhaps not -- basalt?. But people we know used to carry suitcase of gold to Peasant Mountain. They extracted it from rocks that were said not to have any normal gold potential. This was from the Midnite Mine and Supply company. This too was rumoured to be along that front.

The suture has a future.
