I understand your close minded view of how the term established religion may or may not be used.

Term of art

A word or phrase used by legal professionals that have a precise meaning in a particular subject area. Knowing the terms of art and their definitions for your area of practice will save you time and effort in your research.

Examples of terms of art include:

"blue sky laws" (refers to state securities laws)
"TINA" (an acronym for the Truth in Negotiation Act)

Knowing terms of art can also keep you from circling mulberry trees. Of course, knowing a term of art and sharing that with someone who doesn't know, an act usually thought of as being helpful, can get the mulberry tree chopped down on top of you. LOL.
