CIA. What with the Shah, Saddam and Bin Laden, I would not bet against this one going rogue as well. What have they done that has a) gone right b) not imposed some police state on the local people. Democracy, my arse. The firts thing the Arabs would vote for would be to get rid of the Americans. Basically the country closest to Democracy is Iran, which appears to be finding itself at its own pace - just like other countries have. -macavity
