Canada, I mean really who gives a hoot about a country with one province that wants to think it is French.

While you are dreaming of your utopian internationalist world governments, the President is faced with present realities.

The course prior to the liberation by the CoW was one of Saddam staying in power with France, Russia and Turkey seeing an end to containment,

or the people of Iraq being liberated by the CoW and freed of the Baathist regime.

The Mideast is a much safer place now and the trajectory for the future stability in the region has improved dramatically.

The Mideast where 2/3 of the worlds oil is located is no place to let a threat like Saddam fester for another decade. Saddam had impacted global oil supplies for 10 years through the invasion of Iran, then Kuwait and then his containment.

Today the world has little tolerance for another threat to oil supply. In your Canada and your Mexico both oil exporting nations you apparently ignore the ravenous energy appetite of the USA.
