Because the reason for the attacks can not be fixed easily, perhaps not at all.

I suspect giving the Palestinians their freedom would do the trick.

Would you please define what you mean as giving the Palestinians their freedom?

Freedom where? Freedom to come and go in Israel as they wish? Freedom to own weapons as they like? What freedom are you speaking of? It's easy to say "give them their freedom." But it's not very helpful unless you give specifics.

Excuse me but you do understand that the Palestinians want their own state. They don't want to live in refugee camps for the rest of all history, or did you think that was okay with them?

Israel refuses to give them their own state. One of the reasons is because Israel doesn't want to give up the water aquifer under the West Bank. Its the biggest body of fresh water in the region and is extremely valuable to water desperate Israel. Secondly, there are large Israelis suburbs around East Jerusalem. They don't want to give them up either. Thirdly, they like that the Palestinians are subjugated. They provide a great source of cheap labor to do manual jobs in Israel.

Like I said, the more people know the facts, the more people understand Palestinian anger. That's why Europeans and some Americans don't side with the Israelis anymore.
