Fuddle -- you're right that things like AMZN are where they were months ago. I guess the questions we have to answer then is: did AMZN just have a 3 month consolidation on it recent highs or is AMZN about to set a lower high and tank anew?

We all know there is no FA argument for AMZN here. So it boils down to how you look at the chat. Bulls see a 2 month+ wedgy decline on AMZN, and that means it goes higher. Bears see... what on the chart? You tell me.

Uh, care to explain the BTK breakout? Higher high than the June 2003 high. My wife was telling me the stages of grief the other day -

Denial
Anger/Blame
Bargaining
Acceptance

This market is about getting from step 1 to step 4, IMO. Most people have a hard time believing this because they are thinking rationally. You must think irrationally to succeed in this market, but remain cautious, IMO.
