rock...was not trying to set you straight (GGG)...let me put it another way...those companies with the most promise in the nano area....those with the best shot at really breaking out...are companies that own the basic underlying technology to one degree or another....own it or have patented it...and one patent can cover multiple claims. You could have 3-4 patents in nano and also cover 200 or more claims....IBM has been furiously filing nano patents for the last 10 years and shows no signs of slowing down...H-P same...so that is how I approach nanotech on the primary level....there certainly are 2nd and 3rd tier companies that have a sidedoor into nanotechnology and they may be just as valid a play...but you have to start somewhere and the patents seem as good a place as any to me....
