He said many times he didn't have them....the rest of the world didn't think their was enough evidence to show he had them, it was only Bush who thought the evidence was strong enough to invade him and many think that was only an excuse to do what he was planning to do from day 1 anyway....that oil was awfully tempting. Saddam allowed unfettered access. And when Hans Blix wanted 2 more weeks, Bush refused, now all of you wingnuts keep saying "we need more time, we'll find them". Sure, that's why Jr. called off the search party after spending 600M dollars....600M!!!! Getting vengence for Daddy was also a consideration. 911 gave him the cause celebre and he demogogued it with lemmings like you. And don't tell me you never thought Saddam was a part of 911.
