That's just your Winamp media player. It has no value in startup except maintaining file associations if a competing program tries to take them over. No bigee. Disable it. For any other info about what startup programs do and what to do about them, I use this site.

In addition to the earlier suggestions let me steal a method that Bruce Thompson uses on the IHUB Dream Machine thread. Anything else you are not sure about, just post them here and we'll see if we can help you out. For a good starting point about what's running you can go to pcpitstop.com and run the tests. When you finish, there is a link to "Windows details" that will show you what's running and give you links to info about them. On the results page is a tech express link. Go there and copy the url in the yellow box near the top of the page and paste it into a message here and we can see what's running on your machine. It will look like this: pcpitstop.com

WinAmp will play music files, such as MP3 and WAV files. It does not need to be in the Startup menu and its icon does not need to be in your Systray. It is probably already associated with the files mentioned above and will do its thing without all the extra advertising.

WinAgent? Don't know. Try this:

Hope this helps.........
