Point taken. Gridlock is GOOD. It gets a bad press because politicians hate it, but it's good for everyone else. The idiocy gets blocked by the other party. The things that are really needed get through because neither party wants to be seen blocking them. Mostly. Remember, though, that the Iraq war resolution passed both houses with only one dissenting vote. Now you just have to make sure if there's a Dem President that both houses don't also switch. All 435 House seats are up for reelection.
