Dean tells Larry King, "We got our ticket punched to New Hampshire, and that's what matters."

This is a game to Dean...Just a game.
He got a ticket to the next round, so he is satisfied.

Imanamvet wants everyone to see he is a big winner, yet nearly 2/3ds of Demos did not vote for him.
If this is a game, 2:1 against is a loss not a win. Dean understands that and is resting up for round two.

Gephardt is an old work horse who could could gone out to pasture quietly and with grace and honor. Now he will be remembered as another demo loser. Ditto for Lieberman, but Joe may need to be knocked down again before he gets it.

The lesser knowns...K, B, S,...never had a chance.
(The KBS was a great drinking establishment on Hauptstrasse in West Berlin...Lotsa fun nights there. I bet our K, B and S would be fun to drink with.)

Edwards is a JFK like pretty boy...but has no message. If he ever gets one, he would have a chance, except he can't carry carry his homestate NC.

We have 4 issues at work right now...the war, the economy, healthcare and social security/medicare.

The war is going pretty well...We have now gone the longest period since clinton's first election without a terrorist direct attack on American soil (including embassies).

The economy is rebounding...Jobs (the demo issue) are a lagging indicator. If the economy continues to rebound the jobs will come.

Healthcare is impossible. Everybody wants to be treated by the best doctor in the best hospital, but nobody wants to pay for it.

SS/medicare has just had the biggest boost from GWB of all time and nobody seems to like it. It is still ripe to be used as a demo scare area tactical zone.

Kerry from fagachusetts did good in Iowa. Who wouldda believed it. He ran hard on the imanamvet theme again.
Heck, I have 5 combat awards for valor and heroism. the way Kerry figures, that should make me 200% more qualified to occupy the Whitehouse than hisself. What's the difference between us? I thought it was that I never threw my medals away. But then I learned neither did Kerry. He threw sombody else's medals away.
Any man who can get 30 years of personal financial success from throwing away another soldier's war decorations is smarter than me.

The results are really not surprising...Kerry was endorsed by the local pols including the Iowa governor's wife (Oh no, not that again!). Edwards was the choice of the Iowa newspapers. Farmers are busy folks even in the wintertime. Turning to their local leaders and newspapers for advice seems reasonable to me.

So who was last night's biggest loser on a national level.
Al Gore!

Somebody should tell Al that when you want to get out of a hole...first stop digging. And tell him to wash the grease out of his hair too. Or is that brown shoe polish?

Man oh man! I just read what I wrote. I am all over the map with this post...Maybe I should be a politician.
But what would I do with my guns?

and Howard Dean looks like he just ate a poisoned mushroom

That "speech" form Dean was other-worldly... I couldn't tell if he was channeling Hitler or Sam Kinnison.

He is not well.

I cant see how this reaction will help him in NH etc...

Truly a shame that this didn't come out later on.
