Secondly, Gore never said he invented the internet.

No, he said he "took the initiative in CREATING the Internet". Sounds like the same thing to me.

Clinton made it happen like he made a lot of good things happen.

This is a liberal lie, just like the one during the campaign in '92 that asserted that Bush created "the worst economy in 50 years". It was a business cycle. Period.

Where the economy is concerned, Clinton was the luckiest man ever to occupy the White House. The extent of his involvement was, along with Begala & Carville, to lie to the American people (the one thing these idiots knew how to do) repeatedly, until the American people BELIEVED he had taken a horrible economy and made it better.

Aside from that, he begrudgingly implemented part of Gingrich's Contract With America that had progressive economic concepts.

Just lying liberals, that's all it was.

Ted, Gore never said he invented the internet.

Like David posted, Gore said he had a hand in the creation of the Internet. You can spin it any way you want to, but it's obvious he was trying to take credit for something he had little to do with. Much like Clinton, you know. ;-)
