If the Israelis are so decent about their killings, then please explain to me how three times as many innocent Palestinians have died as compared to innocent Israelis during the latest Jihad? How can it be that the Israelis are so careful with civilian lives and the Palestinians so careless but yet so many more Palestinian children, elderly and women are dead than Israeli innocents? Please explain that one to me. Some of those civilians are people throwing rocks at armed soldiers. Others are people that get caught in the crossfire when some "Martyr Brigade" starts fireing on Israelis from behind Palestinian civilians. Mostly more Palestinians civilians are dieing because most of the fighting is taking place in Palestinian areas and more Palestinians non-civilians are dying because Israel is more powerful. In addition, we have given them huge tracts of land on which to live and do with what they please. The reservation system is a big cause of poverty among modern American Indians. Of course it was not meant to that, it was well intentioned. Tim

The whole thing was never done right and the grievances of the displaced Muslims never dealt with. That's true. But it has happened over and over and over and over again in the history of the world. There are numerous displaced people today (many in the US) whose grievances were never dealt with. But to use that to justify terrorism is a stretch I'm not willing to make. Apparently you are, but I'm not. I thought you were the one who said in past posts that the problem couldn't be solved unless people forgot the past and looked forward only. Sounds as though your tune has changed. The Muslim population is growing much faster than the Israeli population. Eventually, the Muslims will be able to outvote the Jews. True. It's happening all over the world. My descendents as generally Caucasian westerners will eventually be a tiny minority not only of the world's population, which we already are, but of our country's population. For most of human history the balance was maintained mostly because the majority populations didn't have the access to health care, clean water, sanitary living conditions, etc. that more advanced minority populations did, and so their infant mortality and youth mortality was much greater, overcoming their higher fertility rates. But in the last century health care, sanitary living conditions, clean water, etc. began to spread over the globe. Which will eventually leave those of European ancestry, in the pages of history, as a group that was once powerful but has become a footnote to history. The Jews in Israel aren't the only ones who will see this happen to them.
